Marcus was the kind of person you’d meet and instantly become friends with. While I worked as a Nurse at the facility where Marcus was staying for Rehabilitation, I learned to know and respect him for being a stand up, stick-to-your-guns kinda guy. He always had a smile on his face even at his worst and a sense of humor that could light up any room. Although the will be missed I know that his adventure has continued in another place. To his family I give all the glory especially to his selfless mom. Mrs Overton you are incredible beyond words and strong beyond adversity. 😍

Marcus could light up a room with his beautiful smile and positive attitude about life. He was a warrior. I will miss our talks and friendship.
